From a perfectly redrawn puppy in first grade to a Fine Arts degree, solo exhibitions, the UK and now Dubai – I turn my artistic background into makeup looks that reveal, not hide, your authentic beauty.

I’m Simona Broks – an artist and makeup creator from Lithuania, now based in the UAE. My path started with drawing and painting, led me through art school and the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where I studied visual design and earned a Bachelor of Arts. I created, exhibited my work and learned to truly understand colour, light and form. Later I worked in the UK as a decorator and at the same time built my second profession as a martial arts coach – this gave me discipline, focus and a very real understanding of people.

My journey then brought me to the Emirates. I was invited to join L’amour Institute of Beauty in Dubai as Head of Academics, and this is where my story continues today. Here I work with multi international clients from all over the world – different skin tones, facial features, eye shapes, styles and cultures. At first it was a challenge, but my art background and deep understanding of colour theory helped me adapt very quickly. Today I can comfortably create any style of makeup, from soft natural beauty to bold editorial looks.
